NZ Estate Agent Offers Vendors TV Adverts as Part of Real Estate Marketing Package
A New Zealand estate agent has become the first in the country to offer sellers the opportunity to see their home marketed on the air – with the launch of a new TV property marketing package.
According to Auckland Now, estate agent Mike Pero will charge vendors from just $500 (under £250) to feature their property in a television advertising slot on the government owned network TV One.
Vendors Offered “Rare Opportunity” to Reach Buyers
Customers who choose the newly launched property marketing agency Mike Pero Real Estate to market their home will be offered a rare opportunity to reach potential buyers in their own homes through a series of morning and evening slots showcasing homes for sale.
The unique property marketing tool is in addition to a reduced commission structure which aims to bring down the cost of selling for NZ vendors who have been hit from two directions with the global slump and recent natural disasters both affecting the property market’s performance.
Industry insiders say Mr Pero, who was until recently known as the driving force behind a successful mortgage company in the country, may be receiving heavily discounted air time as a result of his longstanding advertising relationship with the network’s parent company TVNZ.
Real Estate Marketing Ploy “Never Been Done Before”
Speaking to local reporters the real estate entrepreneur said: “After 20 years of experience with television advertising, we’ve been able to put together something that’s never been done before in real estate marketing.” The adverts are expected to be presented by Mr Pero himself with each slot featuring a selection of exterior and interior photography of properties for sale.
