The compact residence sits on Cheval Place, just a short hop from Harrods department store and Hyde Park and consists of a ground floor garage space alongside a mini-kitchen and shower room with a single room above.
Photography and Floorplans Reveal Home’s Unique Interior
Property photography featured in the Evening Standard yesterday revealed that the interior was in need of a total revamp in order to bring the home in line with modern day, while Floor Plans included in the online property listing show the total floor space to be just 590 square feet
Price and Location Help Real Estate Marketing Efforts
Property marketing professionals Savills Knightsbridge told the press that the little home had sparked a frenzy of interest, with potential buyers hailing from as far afield as Hong Kong. Associate director of the estate agents, Lucy Blyth told reporters that the location of the mews terrace was helping the property marketing campaign for the sale , since the price tag was well below the usual asking prices for homes in the area. She said: “Any freehold property under £1 million in Knightsbridge in such a fantastic location rarely comes to the market, so when it does everybody comes out of the woodwork.”
Potential purchasers have until next Friday (July 22) to submit their sealed bids, with a range of possible uses from glorified garage to space-saving home or even office space in the offing.
