A group of photographic enthusiasts are helping virtual travellers to discover the wonders of the world with an amazing new website.
The Airpano project is the brainchild of a group of Russian photographers, who have made it their mission to create breathtaking virtual tours of amazing spots around the globe.
Tours Offer 360 Virtual Access
Using every means necessary, from aerial shoots to underwater captures, the dedicated team of hobbyists are offering web users stunning 360 virtual access to some of the most beautiful and fascinating places on earth.
From the New York island of Manhattan, to the towers of the Taj Mahal in India, Airpano is creating a new level of online access to international attractions – motivated by the joy of sharing amazing experiences with an online audience.
Photographer Shares Planet’s Most Beautiful Places
Speaking on the project website, photographer Sergey Semenov explained: “I joined AirPano.com to share my photographs with those who can’t travel […] to show the most beautiful places of our planet to the public in a way nobody did before…” While in an interview with CNN he added: “We just do it for fun, as a hobby. On our own resources.”
Visitors to the Airpano website can enjoy more than 700 virtual tours of everything from erupting volcanoes to world famous waterfalls and even the edge of space.
“New virtual tours are published on Airpano.com weekly,” a spokesman for the project said.
